Breeding Derby Hill was pleased to welcome Cassi-tasse to the world on May 31st, 2009. "Cassi" is out of our beautiful hunter mare "Demitasse" (Grand Star x Quick Star) and by the wonderfully prolific stallion, "Cassini II" (Capitol I x Caletto II). Demitasse, a beautiful and athletic mare passed on her good looks and movement to her baby and hopefully jumping technique as well. She had success in the Hunter ranks with tri-colors in Open divisions up to the 2nd Year Greens, and a Reserve Mid-Circuit Champion award at Winter Circuit in her only shows in the Junior Hunter ranks before an injury put her showing career on hold. We are looking forward to watching the development of this very correct, balanced filly, although she may be available for purchase to the right situation. We wish to thank the staff at Branscomb Farms for managing the pregnancy and delivery for us!
