Lesson Program Horses Wanted We are looking for some great Hunter type schoolmasters for our new Lesson Program at Derby Hill. We would like to find two in the 13.2 to 14.3 range and one in the 15 to 16hh range. Ideally these are older ponies or horses who have "been there and done that" with real experience on the Hunter Jumper show circuit. They must be quiet, safe and forgiving. Ponies won't need to jump more than 2'3" and horses not more than 2'9". Applicants should be serviceably sound, but it is fine if they need some maintenance. We offer the best home, and a situation where the animals will not be overused or shared by more than 3 riders at most. Jumping will be limited to three days per week. A free or inexpensive lease situation is optimal for us, but we will consider purchasing the right ones. All ponies and horses will be cared for in the same manner as our show horses, and properly insured. This is a great opportunity for someone who does not wish to sell their horse, but no longer has a use for it and would like to have someone else take over the costs!
